Sketchup Packets

Sketchup Packets was a creative community rooted in Arizona’s film and theatre scene. In 2022, Sly Camisi, inspired by his experiences at The Bridge Improv Theater, envisioned bringing together his improv community and his love for filmmaking to create a collection of original comedy sketches.

In July of that year, Camisi brought together writers, actors, and other industry peers for a script workshop. Writers submitted their work for consideration, and through a collaborative review process, the group provided feedback and selected the scripts that would ultimately become part of the first sketch pack.

Once the scripts were chosen as either main sketches or bumpers, Camisi, alongside fellow Executive Producers Monique Iniguez, Scott Robert, and Mike Bohm, began planning the production of three bumpers and four main sketches. From January through October 2023, the team successfully planned and produced all seven projects, resulting in Sketchup Packets: Volume 1.

In November 2023, Sketchup Packets: Volume 1 was screened at Pollack Cinemas for the cast, crew, friends, and family. During the screening, the team also announced plans for Volume 2.

Following additional planning between Camisi, Iniguez, and Robert, the Sketchup Packets process began again. Production on Volume 2 commenced in the summer of 2024, and over the following year, the team filmed a new collection of shorts. Sketchup Packets: Volume 2 has not yet been released.
